When established 10 years ago, Inter7s had a strong emphasis on supporting
local projects and their needs. As they say, charity begins at home. It was found that by supporting and
promoting local charities, clubs and groups, both ourselves, and our members,
could physically see the good the members money was doing. We have sponsored many of the local senior
teams based at Irishtown Stadium pitch. Irishtown was our first venure for the Inter7s leagues (we expanded into Sandymount and Clontarf five years ago). Teams have been provided with equipment for some of the junior soccer teams, we have also supported local
families, purchased AEDs and provided training to 25 people. We have ran local
tournaments with Giovanni Trapattoni, Packie Bonner, and Damien Duff in
attendance, and a lot more. Our members
were therefore able to see the results, from sensory gardens at the women’s
shelter, to AEDs in the local Spar, storage facilities for the Cambridge team,
to men’s mental health related projects.
Here are some of the local area clubs and projects Inter7s have supported.
